About Tamara Nicholson

As an HR Compliance Manager, I oversee the implementation and enforcement of HR policies, procedures, and regulations across the organization. I ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as industry standards and best practices. I also monitor and audit HR processes, systems, and records, and provide guidance and training to managers and employees on compliance-related matters.I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from University of Maryland Global Campus, and I have been working in the HR field for over two years. I started as a Recruitment Specialist, where I sourced, screened, and hired qualified candidates for various positions, using the ATS and other tools. I have developed strong skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving, and I have contributed to the growth and success of Mears Broadband by filling a large number of vacancies in a short period of time. My goal is to create a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees, and to continue learning and developing my HR competencies.
