With over 20 years of experience in equity markets, I’ve worked in Salestrading, Sales, Business Development and Execution at UBS, Chi-X/BATS (now Cboe), Aquis, and Kepler Cheuvreux. My strengths include hands-on trading experience, deep knowledge of market dynamics and trading nuances, building and managing strong relationships, thriving in fast-paced environments, and adapting to change. I am fluent in 4 languages, enabling me to communicate effectively across diverse regions. Currently, I’m at KCx in Execution Sales, where I combine my passion for markets, people and innovation. Leveraging my experience and Kepler Cheuvreux’s position as the largest independent European agency broker, I provide buy-side clients across France, Germany, Italy, and the Benelux region with tailored execution solutions. Kepler Cheuvreux’s client ecosystem spans Asset Managers, Private and Retail Banks, supported by global execution capabilities and a strong focus on innovation & technology. This allows me to deliver top-tier execution services while addressing client needs in a rapidly evolving marketplace. KCx’s multi-local structure and collaborative culture, with offices in key European capitals and the US, enable me to use my language skills and build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, driving performance and results. Earlier in my career, I worked in Zurich, Geneva and London at UBS as a Salestrader, covering a major client base. My cultural background has given me a deep understanding of cultural nuances, allowing me to meet the diverse needs of clients. I then joined Chi-X as part of the Business Development & Sales team, helping launch the first pan-European equities MTF. This role allowed me to leverage my language skills and knowledge of EU equity markets while contributing to the company’s rapid growth into the largest venue for pan-European equity trading. The introduction of MiFID brought competition among exchanges, and I supported the organisation in driving innovation, market structure changes, and best execution standards. I established relationships with top-tier banks, brokers, and trading houses across Europe, and collaborated with broker associations, third-party vendors, and the media as the company’s growing market share attracted significant interest. Ahead of Brexit, I transitioned to market surveillance, overseeing trading activity on the Aquis EU MTF. This role deepened my expertise in electronic trading microstructure, analasing trading patterns in granular detail, including exchange tick data from tier-1 trading algorithms.
