About Tamara Schoon

With two decades of experience in communications and a background in social anthropology, I work at the intersection of culture, sustainability, and business. At Inholland University of Applied Sciences, I’m part of the Centre of Expertise for Business, Finance & Law, where I focus on how circular and sustainable initiatives in the fashion and textile ecosystem evolve and spread. My current research explores the relational dynamics behind the translocal diffusion of sustainability initiatives, with a special interest in the role of creative and circular hubs. I’m fascinated by (hidden) networks and see networking as both a personal leadership act and an act of solidarity. I thrive in roles that connect people, ideas, and sectors.
