About Tamara Sergi

I chose engineering as a field of study because I would like to use my technical skills for the development of sustainable processes. I work at my best when I am truly motivated; for this reason, I would like to be involved in innovative projects with the aim of reducing the production of wastes and preserving the environment. I believe that this is an exciting time for scientists, since many relevant issues need to be addressed and I am willing to learn as much as possible in order to play an active role in this process. After graduating, I have been awarded by Eni with a scholarship, which allowed me to acquire a broad knowledge in environmental and energy management. It has been a challenging opportunity to complete my technical competences with an extensive economic background. During my studies, I have been abroad, both in Europe and in the US. These experiences gave me the chance to meet inspiring people, through which I have understood the relevance of listening and collaborating with teammates, especially the ones with contrasting ideas or different background.
