About Tamaryn Leach

Tamaryn is a Lawyer in the Financial Services and Funds national team. She has a broad range of experience in the private corporate sector and financial services regulation including in funds management, product disclosure, financial services and credit licensing, consumer protections such as unfair contract terms and unconscionable conduct, payment systems and regulations, consumer credit including with respect to responsible lending obligations, superannuation, design and distribution obligations, privacy, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, sanctions, prudential standards, scams and cybersecurity. She has been actively involved in complex due diligence projects from a regulatory perspective and has advised various entities across the financial services spectrum including but not limited to fund managers (including offshore), banks, insurers and payment service providers. Tamaryn has also been an active contributor in the pro bono sector, having placed among the top recorders of pro bono hours in the Brisbane office, the bulk of which were accrued by advising vulnerable clients in consumer credit and debt matters including with respect to fringe lending, unregulated credit and micro-financing.
