Training teachers to incorporate growth mindset techniques and student engagement building conceptual understanding of math and science is essential. Our students and we live in a tech-rich world that demands educators to embrace new learning management systems, resources, and tools quickly without losing focus on content learning standards. With extensive experience in educational practice and curriculum development for secondary blended learning environments and traditional classrooms and how the brain learns STEM content, my goals are to continue researching and studying how to improve educational practices in the STEM classrooms. Helping "At Promise" students develop positive math mindsets, master mathematics understanding, and overcome past barriers is a personal priority.
