About Tami Soderberg

I began my career with US Navy service as a Dental Assistant. After my time in the Navy I worked for a couple of years as a dental assistant but found I preferred the administrative role. I worked for Delta Dental of Washington for 13 years in a variety of roles. I began as a claims processor and then a customer service representative. I took a new role working with the dentists membership and became the supervisor of 3 for that department. With the implementation of Protected Health Information (PHI) I worked with our Compliance Officer to roll out that information to all of our member dentists. The organization went through a restructure and was hired on at Providence Hospital in Everett, WA as a Medical Staff Coordinator. I was solely responsible for all new providers credentialing. This entailed all background gathering and verification of all schools attended and prior employment. I decided to go back to college and receive my Bachelor degree in Business Administration. For all of my experience as a total I have over 25 years of administrative experience. I enjoy creating databases, input forms and queries to track information. I currently am a Family Medicine Residency Coordinator. I am the first line of contact for all applicants. I support the program director and the organizations Chief Medical Officer with some tasks. I take care of all onboarding of new residents and assisting with all orientation activities. I plan the interview days, resident retreats and end of the training graduation. I have a unique set of skills that are an asset to any organization.
