About Tamika Ramsay

With 10+ years of experience within the Business Development and Human Resources industry I have supported organizations with developing business partnerships and employments opportunities that connected employers with qualified employees from diverse backgrounds. I work within the Career & Co-op Centre at TMU and my top priority is to develop, design, deliver and evaluate a dedicated portfolio of co-operative education programs aimed at connecting academic study with students’ professional development. As the liaison for both students on placement and host employer partners, I engage in the maintenance and growth of employer relationships and the sourcing of experiential learning opportunities for our students within the Faculty of Science. My key areas of focus is on working with our Computer Science students on building their professional profiles and creating new employer relationships to meet their career development needs. With proven experience in helping organizations build great teams by recruiting top talent, I have a passion for making a difference and seeing people self actualize to their highest potentials.
