With 12 years’ of experience working in Benefits and Pension Administration. I have developed in-depth knowledge of HR practices and principles and have applied my expertise in high volume environments with a focus on benefits plan design, implementation, and annual benefits events (i.e. Re-Enrollment). My ability to maintain knowledge of multiple complex benefits plans has allowed me to excel at serving my client’s best interest while keeping focused on cost saving measures and increasing efficiency. For the last three years I have worked in an HR capacity and partnered with leaders on talent management, recruitment, benefits and pension and other key HR Programs. The completion of a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources along with my previous work experience has allowed me to become more familiar with several HR areas and has provided me with the tools required to work effectively and to think strategically. I am passionate about Training and Development, and the direct impact this area has on leading individuals to feel more confident and equipped to perform their jobs to the best of their abilities. I believe education is needed in the area of Benefits & Pension, this is an area often over looked as part of compensation. Through my knowledge and experience my aim is to educate employees on the importance of their employer provided Benefits & Pension Plan, helping them to see it's value and that it is just as important as their salary.
