About Tamiris Rodrigues

As a Portuguese Translator at HalloApp, I have translated over words of AI-generated English content into Portuguese with precision and attention to detail, resulting in increased user engagement and retention. I have also contributed to the quality assurance and localization of the app's features and interface, ensuring a smooth and culturally relevant user experience. With a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University, I have a diverse skill set that has helped me succeed in multiple industries. Previously, I worked as an Assistant General Manager at Panna, a food delivery startup, where I set policies and processes to drive business success, managed a team of 15 employees, and negotiated contracts with vendors and partners. Before that, I was a Quality Assurance Analyst at Accenture, supporting Facebook's content moderation and safety efforts. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions for complex issues, and analyzed incident trends and data to identify areas for improvement and recommend process, policy, and product changes. I take pride in being a detail-oriented team player who consistently delivers results, using my skills in process improvement, communication, and presentations. I am passionate about learning new languages and cultures, and leveraging my linguistic abilities to bridge gaps and create value. I am excited to explore new opportunities where I can use my skills to make a positive impact in the world.
