I recently stepped into the role of Project Leader at Regina Coeli, where my focus is on streamlining LMS systems and processes, improving existing features, introducing new ones, and helping to integrate the latest developments in technology and didactics. My goal is to ensure the institute's LMS runs seamlessly while supporting both colleagues and clients. This role brings together people, technology, and communication to create practical solutions that make a real difference. Previously, I worked as an English language trainer with a strong interest in intercultural awareness, helping professionals gain confidence in international communication by developing their professional language skills. I am a certified trainer with a special focus on Dutch-English communication styles and the cultural nuances that shape collaboration. These insights continue to guide how I lead projects—always with an eye on clarity, teamwork, and cultural understanding. My background is diverse: I studied communication and public relations, spent 15 years in documentary and TV production for broadcasters such as National Geographic and CNBC Africa, and later ran my own jewellery design business after moving from South Africa to the Netherlands. Alongside training, I also delivered institute-wide support in Microsoft 365 and Teams, Virtual Reality, and technical skills, helping colleagues adopt digital tools and overcome challenges. I value creating practical solutions and “lightbulb moments,” whether in training or project work. I’m also curious about innovation in learning and collaboration, from VR and AI to digital tools that make processes more effective.
