I have a robust background in Employee Benefits in the Healthcare industry. I have worked with companies of all sizes, domestic and international in all facets of businesses. These experiences have provided me the opportunity to gain invaluable skills and expertise in the various components of Human Resources. Throughout my career, I have succeeded in managing and administering policies and procedures, analyzing detailed plan designs for management, implementing HRIS systems, and generating analytical reports for clients and executive teams. I have served on management teams as an analyst to understand the trends and challenges to proactively offer innovative strategies and solutions to support clients’ initiatives. I enjoy streamlining and elevating the processes and efficiencies for my company and clients. I am a strong proponent for and live by my mantra “work smarter and not harder!” Throughout my career, I have analyzed and created solutions to assist management teams and Human Resources departments develop processes that significantly streamlined their workflows. I have also developed and implemented benefit and wellness programs within the organizations. These solutions have included strategic, technological, and operational changes for the betterment of the company, staff and clients. I was once asked during an interview, “How will my Political Science degree help me in the new position of account management?” Great question…. I responded by stating that my degree will help me navigate the insurance industry, have a better understanding of the people dynamics, analyze and market client’s needs, negotiate the proper benefits to fit a company’s culture, research trends that affect the economy and comply with governmental regulatory agencies evolving updates in the insurance industry. I love my career. I enjoy teaching and empowering people about their employee benefits program. Every day I get to help employees understand how to manage their money and health by providing them with tools necessary to ask questions and gain a better understanding of their insurance benefits. It doesn't matter your role in the company, you will receive the same level of commitment and service from me. I always handle every situation with care and great customer service. I am a lifelong learner. I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures around the world. Believe it or not, this helps me to better understand people and processes.
