About Tammy Davis

I've always been a people person and have constantly sought the interaction of people whether it be in business or a social setting. So it was no surprise when I decided to rethink my career path and drop out of the RN nursing program I was enrolled in to pursue my career in sales. While I never thought I'd choose the imaging/printing industry as a career choice, I found I had a passion for technology and loved the idea of a constantly changing environment. I was in the aftermarket imaging industry during its rapid growth spurt and what an exciting time it was! The trade shows were bustling and the laser printer technology was evolving. Those days are long gone so I made the decision to look into new industries. I landed in the aviation/aerospace industry for a couple of years and found it to be very interesting and it aligned well with my technical mindset and interest. I was able to learn so much in a short amount of time. I felt I gained an education that could not be bought anywhere. I then worked in the commercial chemical industry and worked with not only customers but vendors, distributors, brokers and across all departments internally. Eventually, all these technical fields would lead me to the Dental Industry working for the global leader VITA North America. My technical aptitude and the talented team at VITA offering ongoing training makes this a perfect match. When I'm not working, I can be found at the yoga studio or climbing a mountain with my Golden Retriever, Bubba. I also enjoy gourmet cooking, baking, wine tasting, movies, stand up comedy, live music and travel.
