As a valued member of the FedEx team, I ensure an outstanding experience for external and/or internal customers. The Purple Promise is the foundational core of FedEx:"I will make every FedEx experience outstanding." User Experience Design or UX is the Art and Science that allows me to deliver on that promise. I am focused on our users and strive to learn everything I can about their needs, behaviors, attitudes, and emotions to help influence and define the outstanding systems and experiences I create. UX is a critical driving force behind gathering these insights and then using them to inspire and inform design. I work with analysts/researchers, information architects, interaction designers, visual designers, strategists, and developers to create innovative, usable, great-looking products/systems that provide operational intelligence and that people love to use. As the Lead UX designer, I help ideate and design breakthrough experiences and innovative solutions that impact how our employees use our systems every day. From research and concept development to prototyping and production, I collaborate with other team members to invent innovative experiences that span across all FedEx systems.
