With over five years of experience in the housing sector, I am now a Lettings and Tenancy Services Manager at Grimsby and Cleethorpes Area Doorstep, a charity that supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. In this role, I oversee the delivery of high-quality lettings and tenancy services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. Previously, I worked as a Homeless Support Worker and a Tenancy Sustainment Coach at Ongo, a social housing provider. There, I helped vulnerable people access and sustain suitable accommodation, working with multiple agencies and partners to provide holistic support and advocacy. I developed strong skills in communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving, as well as tenancy management and customer service. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people who need housing support, and I am committed to continuous learning and improvement. I hold a field of study in Social Sciences from North Lindsey College, where I gained valuable knowledge and insights into social issues and policies.
