An accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in government, public sectors and municipal environments, with a primary focus on public works, healthcare, public health and hospital domains. Proficient in Data Management, Project Management, Workflow Management, Information Management, and Customer Service. Committed to ongoing growth, I have augmented my capabilities through diverse IT training courses, fostering expertise in cutting-edge technology, innovation, and digital Back in tech was booming—"Sign here, make millions!" I signed up, got my diploma… and then dot-com bubble burst. But in that chaos, I discovered workflows—I was hooked. After graduating, I spent 14 years in Public Health, did a stint at our local Hospital, prior to joining the City of Greater Sudbury's public service team, in 2016. My tech-mojo kicks in when I see broken processes, messy data, or—gasp—paper-based data entry. That passion pulled me into the wonderfully unpredictable world of Project Management, where I get to wrangle chaos, work with great people, and make things (mostly) make sense. Outside of work, I love puzzles, genealogy (the ultimate puzzle), reading, exploring, camping, and fishing. I also hold a hard-earned, honorary "Doctorate in Maternal Arts & Resilience (DMAR)" after raising 6 amazing humans—3 biological, 3 step—now all thriving adults. Graduated with honors, of course!
