In my current role as CNO of Pullman Regional in Pullman, WA, we are on the path to nursing excellence with a modern Nursing Practice Council, a Nursing Strategic Plan, a Relationship Based Care Model, and we are in the market for an exceptional EBP platform. Next month we are rolling out our TRUST Cycle Continuous Improvement Model through our Quality Management System. Pullman Regional has a unique relationship with WSU. We have a Residency Clinic and have Residents in our Hospitalist Program. We love our Residents! As the Chief Clinical Officer at Island Health, I lead the strategic direction and operational oversight of the clinical services and programs, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across the continuum of care. I have a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, which equip me with the advanced knowledge and skills to implement evidence-based practices, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making in the healthcare sector. With over 34 years of experience in healthcare, I have held various leadership roles, such as Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Interim CEO, in different hospital settings and regions. I have a proven track record of enhancing patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and organizational performance, as well as fostering collaboration and innovation among multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. My mission is to leverage my expertise and passion to transform healthcare delivery and improve the health and well-being of the communities I serve.
