About Tamsin Potter

I am a system-thinking environmentalist with a passion for climate change mitigation, sustainability and social equity. As a Graduate Environmental Management Consultant I have worked for private and public clients in a wide range of sectors. My work so far has included- Environmental permitting for biogas generation at sewage treatment centres. This included working with Site Plans, Material Safety Data Sheets, Waste Residue Management Plans, Bioaerosol Risk Assessments and Conservation Screening maps- Facilitating workshops on ISO14001 and waste resource efficiency. My responsibilities included facilitating group discussion, updating risk and compliance obligation registers, and collating client recommendations into a summary report- Supporting the sustainability strategy of a railway project. This included researching similar transport companies and wider national policy to determine project scope and commitments- Providing ESG Assurance support Assurance Standard). My responsibilities included validating evidence of material ESG content in the client’s annual Sustainability Report, as well as co-authoring the Assurance Statement Report and Recommendations Report. I am looking to develop and gain experience in sustainability, carbon management, ESG reporting and climate change resilience.
