About Tamzin Dodd

I am a recent Part 2 graduate from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, seeking full-time opportunities in commercial, mixed-use residential and educational projects in London. I have a strong interest in community heritage and building reuse, with a focus on environmentally conscious architecture. During my fourteen months experience as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Rodic Davidson Architects, I contributed to residential and hotel projects, developing expertise in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite and historic research to create compelling visual presentations and manage project documentation. In addition to concept design, research and planning applications, I led the practice’s marketing strategy, managed digital platforms, produced a practice brochure, and organized events including the London Festival of Architecture’s ‘Performing the Plan’. These roles demanded strong graphic design skills, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate and delegate tasks within the team, while integrating diverse feedback into a cohesive studio vision. My current practice involves collaboration with Roland Way MCIAT on a freelance basis on various residential planning applications and building regulation approvals, of which I continued throughout my Part 2 Studies which reflects my ability to independently manage, deliver and adapt in dynamic environments.
