About Tan Linn

Graduated with a Technical Studies A.S. from John Tyler Community College with multiple disciplines in the fields of CNC machining, manual machining, and welding. Supporting course work has included quality assurance techniques and statistics, machine mathematics, business communications, and team management. My focus and experience has mostly been in the setup and operation of vertical and horizontal milling machines from Mazak and Haas manufacture. Programming has largely been in "G-code" RS-274-D written manually, or by using programs such as CIMCO Edit and MasterCAM. Some programming experience with Mazatrol M32 and Nexus Matrix with extensive operation use. I am comfortable in the operation of CNC lathes, large and multi axis multi mode machining centers. I have passed X-ray and metallographic certification for GTAW of Inconel and Hastelloy alloys. I have also performed tests for GTAW of 410 stainless steel and SMAW of structural steel. I maintain these skills on my own stationary and portable Stick/TIG welding machines.
