About Tanis Brako

High energy leader with experience in engineering, electric and gas utilities, government, project management, change management (Prosci methodology), people management, sales, customer experience, operational excellence using Lean principles, new product development, brand development, marketing and business strategy. Successful projects executed under my leadership are the business case development for an enterprise marketing plan, new brand launch, continuous improvement initiatives of multiple processes, policies and procedures to improve employee and customer experience, customer relationship enhancements for commercial and industrial sectors, and most recently the development of a new rate product. Past projects include bringing new innovations to Manitoba Hydro including line heaters for natural gas stations and project management and operations and maintenance responsibility for a compressed natural gas station. Creating value for employees and customers drives my motivation to continue to improve my own skills in the pursuit of these successful outcomes. Being a female engineer, I am passionate to pass along what I have learned to young girls and women to help them succeed as a professional engineer or a career in STEM.
