About Tanja Calis

I am an enthusiastic, creative and hard-working communications professional, always on the lookout for new and innovative approaches to sharing information. I have over ten years’ experience in diverse fields relating to science communication (public engagement, primary STEM education, media production, European research projects, funding procurement). I currently manage the Discover Primary Science and Maths programme at Science Foundation Ireland. My academic background is in science communication, zoology and project management. I have shown ambition, drive and enthusiasm in both academic results and my performance in past working environments. I am committed to giving all my energy and focus to every task I undertake, both individual and team based, with the utmost attention to detail. I enjoy working with people, have great communication skills and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. Always on the look-out for exciting opportunities and to connect with inspirational people.
