About Tanja Schiffner

I am ambitious and a hardworking person who is always looking for new challenges with a clear record of achievements. I was able to conclude my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/International Business at Pforzheim University successfully, while being able to spend several semesters abroad - in Hong Kong, France and the U.S. After this I decided for a gap year working for Roche Pharma as an intern in Business Controlling and for Simon-Kucher & Partners as an Associate Consultant. Afterwards I have decided for my Master in International Management at the University of Cologne where I could spend more time abroad, namely in Copenhagen and Bangkok. Besides those professional and academic achievements I was also able to be active for things which are also important for me, be it sports like handball or student initiatives like Sneep or supporting children with migration background as tutor. What I do, I do with 100% and more. All these experiences show and helped me to develop and enhance certain skills and strengths, such as my ambition, stamina, curiosity, flexibility, communication skills, intercultural competence, analytical thinking, ability to work in a team, helpfulness and emotional intelligence. These professional and personal skills helped me during my journey within Deutsche Telekom as Start up! Trainee as well as in my target position as Board Member support @Magenta in Vienna. AND my journey goes on allowing me to gain an unexpected set of tools, knowledge and experiences as Teaching and Research Associate @WU Vienna which I want to use in a perfect way in the future to create positive impact.
