Background
About Tanner Dalton
Currently, I am a biomedical engineering student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. My path to where I am today has been anything but ordinary! I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California with a family of three brothers and a mother and father. Currently I am looking for a biomedical engineering related full time position for the summer of 2022. During my high school days, I went on a path normal to many Bakersfield teenagers by going to public high school. In my junior year I transferred to a prep school in Vermont to pursue academic and athletic excellence. After my time at prep school I spent a gap year playing junior hockey in Westchester, New York and then I came to the Milwaukee School of Engineering. I chose biomedical engineering as my major because the body has always been interesting to me and I have always had an interest in helping people and I felt that biomedical engineering hit my strong points perfectly. Different projects on campus that I have done to help my skills in biomedical engineering was to set up a EKG kit, learn reaction times of patella tendons vs achillies tendons, programmed in C++ to come up with a patient identifier program, and developed a EKG circuit to be used on ourselves. In the summer of 2021, I was an intern with GE Healthcare in Waukesha, WI where I worked with CT scans to help further the development of AI and CT scans. I have worked in admissions and as a tutor on campus at MSOE and I am also involved in the FeelGood organization and Developer's Student Club organization as well. In the summer I coach hockey to young kids in Bakersfield, California and I also have worked at the local ice rink and a restaurant in the summertime. When I was 16 I also had a construction management internship with Hensel Phelps Construction Company. Attached is my resume:
