Serving in the non-profit world. Currently at Passages as a Development Officer, assisting with donor relationships and cultivation efforts for fundraising purposes. Previously, served as a Sponsor Relationship Manager at Family Legacy, serving children in Zambia by communicating and building relationships with donors who support their education. I use Excel, a CRM system, Outlook, and Word to manage and update donor accounts, apply funds from major gifts, and connect with new sponsors and fundraising opportunities. In 2023, I raised from donors on my caseload who sponsor college programs for Zambian students. I have a B.A. in Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies from Dallas Baptist University, where I also worked as a Student Assistant in the Financial Aid office for three years. I processed reports and transferred files for FASFA and student accounts, using CRMS like Colleague and Salesforce. I also have six years of customer service experience, including taking phone calls from members about their retirement and investment accounts at GuideStone Financial Resource and working at Raising Cane’s as a crew member and then getting promoted to Manager after just a year. I am passionate about serving others, learning from different cultures, and making a positive impact through fundraising, donor relationships, and working in a collaborative setting
