About Tanner Hallock

I have high interests in Health Science and Fitness/Health Promotion. I have experience and education with Athletic Training, Emergency Medical Technician, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, Injury Rehabilitation, Injury Evaluation, and Coaching. I graduated with my; Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Technical Certificate in May of 2019; with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fitness and Health Promotion in May of 2020; and with my Masters of Science in Athletic Training in May of 2022. Immense clinical experience between EMT and Athletic Training education-Athletic Training Clinical Experience 2019-2022: 2,320 hours (Collegiate and High School)-Emergency Medical Technician Clinical Experience 2019: 60 hours (ER Tech and ambulance). Volunteer experience with two organizations, the 'We Can program' and the 'Steppin' it Up' program, where I assisted in leading classes based on health, fitness, and well being. The We Can program was based around low income families with young children, teaching these families how to budget, eat healthy, and exercise. The Steppin' it Up program was for individuals of all ages who had intellectual disabilities, where we taught classes for participants (Topics include: hygiene, exercise, nutrition, relationships, well being) and coached groups (4-6 individuals maximum) through strength and conditioning workouts. Interpersonal Skills; organization, leadership, teaching, research, teamwork, communication, professionalism, time management, problem solving. Industrial Skills; functional screening, injury evaluation/diagnosis, modalities (Therapeutic Ultrasounds, Electrical Stimulation, Kelvi/Gameready, Normatec, Scraping, Cupping, Whirlpool), injury rehabilitation/physical therapy, emergency care, vitals, doctor scribing, and documentation.
