About Tanner Hatch

Growing up in a family operated international technology business I had the opportunity of being a fly on the wall in many various company situations and conversations. Over the years I became so enthralled with how every day decisions and processes effect the companies ability to function efficiently and maximize utilization of all assets. Because of this interest I chose to pursue a degree in Business Management-Operations at BYU Idaho. Prior to BYU Idaho I was a supply chain specialist at Antenna Technology Communications inc. an international telecommunications Satellite broadcast company. While working their I witnessed and learned the value of Team Collaboration between different departments, supply chain management in a manufacturing, sales negotiation, job site construction operations, Contractor and Supplier relations, Customer service experience, and industry strategy forecasting. I also had the opportunity to work for one of the most innovative leaders in the SATCOM (Satellite Communications) industry ViaSat inc. where I learned how to collaborate and operate within a large high tech Aerospace manufacturing and research and development facility. While at ViaSat I learned the true value and power of a culture that empowers employees to be their best as individuals and a team. I also learned the intrinsic complex levels of multiple sub assemblies that feed into parent assemblies of high tech and highly sensitive space flight products where procedures and process must be followed exactly. As for the future of my career I am interested in creating value for any company or industry that I work in. I also have long term goals of eventually getting into more of the business development side of things where my creativity, innovation, and strong interpersonal skills would be strongly suited. Outside of work, I value family and friend relation ships dearly, I enjoy being physically active and maintaining a healthy life style. Some of my hobbies are Tennis and Golf, and I love any chance I can get to break away to the beach or ski slopes. Message me if you would like a copy of my resume!
