About Tanner Johns

I am fascinated by how people think and the physiological mechanisms behind what makes us who we are. I am a student at Brigham Young University and I am double majoring in Neuroscience and Molecular Biology. I am currently taking Premed Classes to prepare myself for Medical School so that I can become an active participant in the World of Medicine. I am constantly seeking out Experiences and Opportunities that will prepare me to become an Understanding, Courteous, Competent, and Confident Doctor.Of all things, I am most interested in the human brain and how neural plasticity enables us to change. Depending on the thoughts we think and the choices we make, the neural pathways that are developing can either be wonderful or destructive. I volunteer as a mentor for youth because I want to be a positive influence that can motivate them to make good decisions that will aid their cognitive development.I am Tanner Johns and I endeavor to change the world around me for the better.
