About Tanner Luckett

Scientist with 5 years of work experience in late-stage drug product pharmaceutical development and technology transfer of new products to internal or contract manufacturing sites. I am knowledgeable of small-scale experimentation design used to improve or validate aseptic fill/finish manufacturing processes. Moreover, I have supported product commercialization by providing manufacturing technical support and authorship of reports and BLA regulatory filing sections. Problem solving and wanting to serve the greater community ultimately drove my decision to work as a scientist/engineer within the pharmaceutical industry and receive my B.S. degree in Bioprocessing Science from North Carolina State University. Dual experience in upstream/downstream courses provided me a well-rounded education and understanding of how pharmaceutical products are produced from beginning to finish. My career began in quality control where I analyzed production samples to ensure manufactured batches met all acceptance criteria before release. Since then, my interests have shifted toward working in process development and technology transfer. Some of my experiences have included-Ensuring successful technology transfer of a vaccine product to a CMO -Designing and executing scaled-down experiments to improve product understanding and eliminate the need for repetitive large-scale development batches - Driving market approval of vaccine and biologics products by authoring various drug product BLA filing sections that included manufacturing site comparability and analysis of data generated across batches produced at these sites Aside from being a scientist, I am an outdoor enthusiast looking to play disc golf or find a new adventure backpacking somewhere in the mountains. As best stated by Albert Einstein, “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better”!
