About Tanner Scott

As a second-year genetic counseling graduate student, I am passionate about expanding access to genetic counseling services, increasing awareness of the profession, and serving at the cornerstone of genomic advancement, counseling, and patient advocacy. Through a year-long clinical internship at Mayo Clinic, I have gained experience in oncology, prenatal, general, and pediatric genetics while completing specialty rotations in laboratory genetic counseling and individualized medicine. I aim to draw from my appreciation for patient-centered care and experience in education and behavioral health advocacy to thoughtfully counsel and empower future patients. I strive to bring enthusiasm, creativity, and diverse talents to a collaborative work environment.
