About Tanya Stringer

My passion to serve and my desire to help others have been the driving force throughout my careers in healthcare and financial services. As a former healthcare executive and chief operating officer, I possess extensive experience in leading multimillion-dollar medical groups. During my tenure, I was charged with the sole fiscal responsibility of managing budgets up to $275 million, as well as shepherding mergers/acquisitions, negotiating compensation contracts and administering retirement plans as a fiduciary. I bring more than 20 years of experience to my role as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. My education, experience and financial acumen provide a solid foundation for my practice where I serve high net worth individuals, small businesses and my community; both locally and nationally. At Edward Jones, I holistically assess my client's financial health, just as a physician assesses a patient's physical health. Much like a physician provides patient-centered care, I provide client-centric care. I get to know my clients personally by focusing on their needs first. I partner closely with my clients throughout their lifetime, as they strive to achieve their goals and live their best lives. I received my Bachelor of Science from University of Illinois at Chicago, and Master of Science at University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (now Des Moines University). Under the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, I hold FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, a public service sorority that is over 100 years old; as well as a board member of YMDQ, LLC; a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization; and a volunteer within the Summerlin community. I provide mentoring to young parents and at-risk youth. The same passion I have for service to my community, I embody in my career.
