About Tapas Kumar Satpathy

I have more than 15 years of professional experience working with Corporate and civil society organisations in India. In these years, I have led and managed a number of development research and action learning projects on citizen participation, social accountability, civil society development, strengthening school governance and democratic local governance in urban and rural contexts. I have extensively worked on capacity building projects with particular emphasis on participatory learning, monitoring and evaluation, participatory planning & training methodology, disaster risk reduction and skill building. AREAS OF EXPERTISE Strengthening School governance through involvement of Community and Local governing Institutions Strengthening participation of Women, Dalit and Tribal Leadership in the process of Local Self Governance institutions through appropriate capacity building strategy Participatory Research, participatory monitoring and evaluation of development programs and projects.
