About Tara Bowes

I am an experienced accounting/finance leader, who is passionate about creating process and continuous improvement. I am self driven, I strive to find what the gaps are in a process or function and use those findings to make improvements. I work closely with cross-functional departments to understand their function and what their needs are from the finance team. I am very experienced with ERP and payroll systems (implementation and configuration), creating system process and workflow. I am also highly skilled with excel and can make complex spreadsheets to create standardized reporting or automate processes. I have had 12.5 years of manufacturing accounting experience, which ranged from cost accounting (costing BOMs, inventory, manufacturing variances) to financial analysis (weekly/monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls). The last 2.5 years I have worked leading the finance team (full cycle accounting, audit lead, overseeing AP, AR, payroll and purchasing functions), and leading the systems optimization (creating process, implementation and configuration).
