About Tara Camp

Leadership role within Public Procurement in County and Airport Authority government roles for eleven (11) years. Responsible for leading the Procurement teams to their full potential and oversight of the Procurement teams policies, procedures, goals, benchmarking, and strategic initiatives. As a leader in the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of NIGP and National Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP), I serve as the current treasurer of the Tampa Bay Chapter of NIGP and served as the Chairperson for the 2015 Reverse Trade Show. In 2016, I was the recipient of the Young Professionals Scholarship Award from NIGP to attend the 2016 NIGP Forum in Maryland. In 2017, as Director of Purchasing for Pasco County Board of County Commissioners, I successfully organized the 1st Pasco County Reverse Trade Show which allowed over 180 Vendors/Suppliers, to attend and meet representatives from the Board of County Commissioner Departments, Pasco Sheriff's Office, City of Dade City, Clerk of Circuit Court and several other entities. This event allows our local Vendors/Suppliers to learn how to business with Pasco County government entities.
