My name is Tara & I live Atlanta, GA. I took a step back from my career a few years ago to figure out which direction I wanted to go in & while doing so, I found a position within 1099 work I was doing that involved establishing homeowners claims. It was then that I developed an unexpected passion for insurance. I contracted through several different smaller companies within the industry until I secured a position with Allstate & National General Insurance. I owned and operated my own business for 15 years and recently decided to step away to completely focus on my 9-5 career, that I have found matters most to me. With 15 years of customer service under my belt & just under 5 years in claims, my journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of claims processes, and I thrive on solving complex issues while also ensuring customer satisfaction. I am eager to further my career in insurance in general and committed to continuous professional growth. I believe in the power of learning and development, and I found a company that values these principles as much as I do at American Family Insurance & Homesite. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to my team while honing my skills and advancing within the industry. I have never been more certain of becoming part of an organization and I am truly excited about my future with Am Fam & Homesite Insurance!
