About Tara Flache

I believe in the importance of design as part of our everyday life. I am inspired by challenging design problems. I bring these fundamentals together to specialize in blended-use buildings that bring simplicity to complexity. I started at Perkins and Will in the Chicago studio, working on notable mixed-use buildings within the city. These early projects had a profound influence on my perspective and my knowledge of buildings from concept design to technical execution and construction. Today I brings this range of design thinking to everything I do, ensuring that concepts are constructible and that construction is reflective of concepts. In my 20+ years in the design profession, I have led projects for commercial clients both domestically and internationally while supporting urban design teams in master planning large development sites. Now as a leader at NELSON looking forward to continued relationships with my commercial clients and seeing these buildings come to life.
