About Tara Garthe

Professional: Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with diverse teams across a variety of roles and functions that have lead me to my ultimate passion integrating computer science and systems development with people-focused and quality-driven results. I am proud to be a dependable, growth-minded individual who maintains a sharp interest and deep commitment to learning and evolving in fields that mirror these strengths. I am self-motivated and very detailed oriented. This means that if I am ever in a situation where I do not know how to do a new skill, I will learn it quickly, efficiently, and correctly. DiSC: C/SPersonal: When I am not working, I mostly enjoy time with my spouse and our four-legged "kids"(2 cats and 1 dog). I also enjoy escaping to fictional worlds by reading fantasy novels or playing video games with my nephew, who is also one of my best friends. To get out of the house, I can often be found playing disc golf at some of the local parks while listening to a very diverse variety of music or going on a walk with my spouse and our doggo. With computers and technology being one of my top passions, I do spend time improving existing talents and teaching myself new skills, both for my coursework and for personal interest. One of my personal favorite accomplishments is when I built my first desktop gaming PC. I currently have a goal of building one that resembles a fish tank using a hydro cooling system.
