About Tara Joseph

Though humankind originates from the same supreme source, everyone has a different background in which they are born and brought up. This makes us all special in different ways. Born in a middle-class family, I was raised by parents who both worked in the banking sector, which familiarized me with the truths of the economy and its works from an early age. This inspired me to continue my educational journey into the field of commerce and to my Bachelor in Commerce in my home country India. Moving forward I realized how much the digital world impacts the financial markets and the emergence of cryptocurrency and blockchain sealed the deal - I wanted to learn more about it. This led to me coming to South Korea to do my masters in Management and Technology My experience in playing as a middle blocker in volleyball taught me the importance of a team and sportsmanship. During my bachelor's I was fortunate enough to be able to do my summer internship in Youngsan University (Y’sU), Busan, South Korea-which was my first exposure to K-culture. This experience opened my eyes to the numerous opportunities the country had to offer. In the same year, I was elected as Co-chairperson of the Young Indian Association (Yi) Kochi Chapter, which is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry. In the last year of my bachelor's, I had an opportunity to intern as a business analyst and work under the CEO which gave me a sliver of a vision of my work life that is to come.
