Lear Oshawa - I started off in production working on the Rear Seat Back line building the seats in October of 2021. Currently, I’m a Quality Inspector at Lear Oshawa, since May 2022. I was a Discrepant/ Scrap Handler for Quality for over 1 year. I used different programs like SAP to create PO’s, OD’s, run logs with Microsoft Excel, create RGV and Scrap reports. Certified Independent Scentsy Consultant. Safely Scenting Homes Since April 2019 to December 2024. Delmonte/Premier, Ontario. I first started out as a line worker and moved up to Line Lead, and sadly, there’s nothing to move above it. I’m looking for a positive change, and to learn new things. I want something where I can be cross trained that will help the me utilize my skills, and put them to good use. I enjoy learning new skills and being able to use the new skills towards my everyday life and work. I’m CannSell Ontario Certified (97.2% or 4.33 GPA). Clear Criminal Background Check October 2021. I have my G license and my own transportation. I’m willing to learn to drive a forklift if necessary. I have my WHMIS 2021 Certificate (my score is 100%) I’ve also worked in the auto industry.(Temp work) At CEVA in 2017-18, doing Quality Control (QC), in various different areas (temp work). I liked doing Quality Control. I enjoy learning new skills and applying my new skills to use. I was able to go to different locations within the GM Plant for QC. I worked at Woodbridge Foam Corp Whitby from 2017- 2018.(Through a Temporary Agency) They manufacture car seats for Honda, Chrysler, Lexus and GM. I was a line worker there and learned a lot of different things about how intricate making a car seat can be. I repaired, inspected, NRT Sprayed, and Packed the car seats to be shipped to suppliers. Back in 2005/2006, I took the fast track* PSW (Personal Support Worker) Course at E.A. Lovell - Continuing Education, and I received a 92/100% Average or 4.33 GPA. I enjoyed my field placements, and the work I did. To which I found out I’m very empathetic, and had a hard time dealing with my clients passing away that I changed fields. I worked for a Private Client from 2006-2010.(*fast track was a 6.5 month course, start to end).
