About Tara Munjee

Through my diverse roles in arts education, I've developed expertise in teaching, program development, curriculum design, personnel recruitment and retention, production, marketing and community outreach. To effectively function at top capacity (as indicated in my performance reviews), I have honed my skills in writing, speaking, presenting, data analysis and strategic planning. I have years of teaching and mentoring all types of learners - ages 3-93 - from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I have successfully designed and delivered content for face-to-face as well as virtual contexts in community, national and international forums. I am experienced in assembling and managing teams in both for-profit and non-profit settings and have overseen budgets in for-profit and 501(c)(3) organizations. A seeker of knowledge, I continue to research and publish on culture and the arts as well as write creative nonfiction and enroll in continuing education courses. In addition to these activities, I enjoy time with family, hiking, cycling, cooking, reading and my volunteer advocacy work for active listening and autism awareness. taramunjee@gmail.com
