About Tara Sheth

I am a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neuroscience. With a solid foundation in neuroscience, biology, and chemistry, I have gained hands-on laboratory experience in techniques such as immunohistochemistry (mouse brain slice preparation and staining), immunocytochemistry, neuroanatomical dissection, and mRNA microinjection. Notably, I conducted a project using zebrafish embryos as a model organism to study the impact of alcohol on fetal brain development, simulating Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. I have also obtained skills in different microscopy techniques, including fluorescence and bright field microscopy, alongside image analysis. Driven by a deep passion for neuroscience, I am eager to further hone my skills and pursue a career in research.
