About Tara Singleton

Tara Singleton's journey in the dental industry has been marked by a commitment to education and innovation. She began her career by attending NAIT's Dental Laboratory Program, eventually becoming a Registered Dental Technologist in 2007. However, her pursuit of knowledge didn't stop there. In 2009, Tara took the bold step of returning to school to enhance her dental expertise. She became a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and completed her orthodontic module. During the same period, she dedicated herself to various courses at D4D Technologies and earned the title of a Certified Digital Designer (CDD). In 2013, Tara reached a significant milestone when she founded her second dental laboratory,"My Lab." This establishment was a trailblazer in the realm of digital dentistry, proudly holding the title of Canada's first E4D certified laboratory. From the outset, My Lab was dedicated to leveraging digital advancements in dentistry and collaborating closely with each practitioner to optimize their intraoral scanning (IOS) systems. What truly set “My Lab” apart was Tara's hands-on chairside experience, which allowed her to appreciate the uniqueness of every dental practice and practitioner. Through these partnerships, innovative, creative, and practical solutions were developed, further solidifying Tara's reputation as a leader in the field of digital dentistry. Tara's journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to advancing dental technology and her ability to work hand in hand with practitioners to meet their distinct needs. Her work entire career experience has resulted in the development of groundbreaking solutions for the dental community. In 2018, My Lab was purchased by Universal Dental Laboratories, where Tara still calls home today, as they collaborate to expand My Lab to new levels. Today, Tara is honored to begin her next chapter as a Sales Engineer with Dandy, a leader in digital dentistry. In this role, she will leverage her technical expertise, hands-on clinical background, and passion for education to empower dental professionals in embracing digital workflows and shaping the future of the industry.
