About Tara Willis

I am a passionate veterinary nurse and find true love in ward nursing and consulting. I qualified in 2011, and have since covered all aspects of nursing, working in both primary care and referral. I was a ward nurse at Fitzpatrick referrals, orthopaedic and neurology, for 7 years. Since leaving referral I have expanded my consulting knowledge and excelled at promoting pet remedy within the clinic, and for clients and pets at home. I have also successfully implemented a silver cat friendly approach to the clinic. As well as currently studying nutrition in small animals. I am now ready to look at a less clinical, more admin based role due to the physical demand of the profession. I have previously covered for more senior members of the team, and have not previously worked in more senior roles simply due to lack of opportunities. Thank you for reading
