Leader | Relationship-builder | Strategic thinker | Coach | Facilitator | Mental Health Maven I am a community-oriented, socially conscious, values-driven collaborative leader with undergraduate education in Sociology and a Master of Arts degree in Leadership. I have worked in the Hospitality, Health Care and Non-Profit industries. Over the last ten years I have developed, managed and led mental health programming, with a specific focus on leveraging the voices of people with lived experiences, including parents of young people with mental health challenges. I am passionate about developing leadership in others and helping non-profit organizations operationalize program ideas. I specialize in leading, developing and managing Neurodiverse people and populations. My earliest career experiences as a manager at a top-rated Vancouver hotel taught me the importance of customer service and how to be service oriented. The skills I learned in customer services carryover into how I approach my work today. Excellent service is something everyone deserves whether they are staying a high-end hotel or accessing a community mental health program. I am a person who gets things done efficiently, fulsomely and with a focus on quality. I am excited about working with others and organizations that are values driven that also care about quality.
