About Tarara Dan

Dan is a Civil Engineer with more than 20 yrs of RO and UK experience in Project Management and delivery of complex multi-disciplinary projects, including hands-on involvement in the co-ordination of design teams based in multiple locations. He is highly motivated, extremely capable and easily-adaptable when working in new environments, eager to learn and share knowledge. He possesses extensive knowledge of the quality assurance system and ISO 14001 Environmental Management. Dan started, back in 1998, as Teaching assistant at Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest. In 2004 he decided to move to industry sector and joined Halcrow. Since then, as DPE, TL, PM or DPM he has acquired extensive experience in the delivery of all types of activities for major projects. Due to his knowledge, negotiation and coordination abilities, commercial and risk management experience, Dan has been also involved, as Bid Leader, in delivery of tenders. Some of the Dan's reference projects, won and/or delivered, are: • Flood and hazard maps for Basin of Siret river • Reduction of the Black Sea coastal erosion on RO shoreline • Technical assistance for Project Management (including feasibility study, financing application, design and technical assistance during construction) in Jiu Valley (LIOP 2014-2020) • Improve Navigability on Romanian-Bulgarian common sector (488km) Dan’s performance is driven by his desire to drive improvement and deliver results whilst providing a supportive and motivating environment within the team. In addition to his extensive experience on major projects he brings enthusiasm and a positive can-do attitude to the delivery of the projects assigned.
