I have special expertise in: • Leadership & Team Building Acquired and retained qualified IT resources. Created a new structure and compensation scale for the IT staff at Jordan Commercial Bank, and gained senior management approval. After implementing the new scale and skills structure the turnover ratio went down by more than 70%. • IT Strategic Planning Established the IT Strategic Planning section at Arab Bank plc, to cater to all the twenty two IT centers globally. The role of the section was to establish a framework to unify the use of technology and IT standards and applications across all Arab Bank IT centers. IT Strategic Planning section lowered the costs of procurement, IT training, and IT support by 25% during the 2nd year of operations, and continued to improve on yearly basis • Business Process Optimization Lead and participated in many projects to improve the organizational process through utilizing automation and tools to improve customer satisfaction, increase competitiveness and lower operational cost. Results were accomplished by process documentation (As-Is and To Be) and by process simulation to identify bottlenecks and unveil hidden dependencies. Some of the tools that were utilized are the ARIS tool set, IBM Rational Rose, and iGrafx • IT Service Delivery Design Defined the service delivery design model at Jordan Commercial Bank. The model was essential to streamline the business requirements along with the IT architecture and service level agreements internally and with third party services providers.
