About Tarin Erickson

I am a graphic designer with more than 7 years of experience creating dynamic marketing campaigns and branding initiatives, from concept to creation, across print and digital platforms. I am a detail-orientated, strategic problem-solver who is obsessed with great typography. Before my venture into graphic design, I worked for many years in the architectural field. As a drafter/designer, I would field measure homes and create blueprints to work from for remodeling projects. I also worked in new construction as a project manager, guiding homeowners through the design process by helping them make decisions on finishes and stay on budget. But one day at Starbucks changed my path. When I ordered my usual drink, I picked up a gift card and thought to myself:"this is what I want to be designing". And just like that, I was pursuing an art degree. As a freelance designer, I have worked with design and marketing agencies. Currently, I am part of an in-house marketing department at a non-profit arts organization. Daily, I work on projects for cross-functional teams that include website and brochure design, fundraising collateral, and environmental signage (to name a few).
