Improvement Science/Data Analysis: Analyzed behavioral and performance data to understand students’ present levels, understandings, and misconceptions to meet their specific needs. Collaborated with math team members to develop and implement common core-driven curriculum materials and assessments to positively impact student academic outcomes, while also revisiting and revising practices to fit updated needs. Leadership: Became a division lead (i.e. department chair) to improve student development and supports within the school. Led monitoring and problem solving to ensure academic and behavioral success for all students taught by the 10th grade team. o Transitioned into working with various students in both 11th and 12th grade to facilitate similar outcomes. Leading an excursion with students to multiple countries beyond North America. Co-mentored and coached new teachers to develop their curriculum and planning, relationship building, and other vital teaching skills. Organized class meetings on behalf of the school to make sure students, specifically seniors, stayed on track heading towards graduation. Was named Lead Tutor, and was responsible for maintaining the facilities and proper use of tutoring labs across campus. Communication: Planned and lead class assemblies for each grade (Fall 2022) Publicly speaking on behalf of the school to the 12th grade class and families throughout the year at major assemblies (Senior Inauguration, Senior Farewell, and Graduation)[Fall 2021 and Spring 2022] Speaking at various Open Houses to articulate and push the brand of the school (2019-2021) Created and presented “Maximizing Victory with Infinite Parties to Enable Better Dichotomous Decision-Making” - Mathematics Presentation (Spring 2018).
