About Tarragon Kelham

First Class MA Graduate in Fine Art and History of Art from the University of Edinburgh with experience working as a publicist in the live entertainment and events sector. Building on my Master's degree, I am looking to develop a career in the creative sector and am keen to explore as many of its facets as possible. I have professional experience as an artistic practitioner, winning and executing a public sculpture commission for the City of Worcester City https://worcesterplinth.art/. Additionally, as an object-obsessive, fascinated by the pull of objects and their unique histories, I am eager to expand my academic experience and passion for collection and antique sales in a professional auction setting. With a particular interest in research, and appreciation for the value of art and the complexities of the market, I am confident I can leverage and develop my existing skillset to contribute to any team focused on auctioneering and sales. Whether it's helping to identify potential buyers, conducting research on the provenance of art pieces, or supporting the nuts and bolts of the auction process itself. My experience in PR and Social Media invests me with an aptitude to identify target audiences and select relevant media platforms through which I can communicate effectively in a compelling manner. The ability to research and synthesise complex information into digestible formats, then select the best vehicle through which to share this information is critical to communicating with potential clients and capturing their attention. Overall, my goal is to gain valuable work experience while making meaningful contributions to the world of fine art sales. I am excited to take on new challenges and build a foundation of practical skills that will serve me well throughout my career.
