About Tarun Dey

I am a Data Analytics professional with a Masters in Information Technology and Management with specialization in Business Intelligence and Analytics from The University of Texas at Dallas. I have been working in different industry domains ranging from Consulting, Banking, Education and Pharmaceuticals so I can expose myself to the different ways in which data is used. I am a process oriented person with an analytical approach to Business Intelligence and Business Analytics. It is amazing to see huge chunks of data transform into such useful, incredible information using so many tools available in the present market. My aim is to get as much experience as I can, both from functional and technical aspects of the business to better understand the potential gaps to provide robust solutions. Over the years, I have developed a skill set to learn new things which interest me, be it Analytical and statistical tools, Finance Management, Human Resource Management or even fun things like cooking, singing, dancing or playing different sports.
